vitara live axle conversion

hi all just a thought...a very big thought haa

whats involved in a vitara front ifs conversion to a live axle setup?????

im thinking its a huge job n lotsa money????? or am i wrong....well sort of wrong :lol:

anyone done this before who could fill me in with whats involved and maybe a total cost roughly?

Are you planning to do this yourself, or pay someone. If you are going to pay a shop, yes it will cost yoou some significant coin. If you are planninf to do this yourself, it will deffinatley cost less, but if you have to ask whats involved, you might not be up to the task. There is a fair bit involved in doing a SAS PROPERLY.
Have a look at A1s build, and a few others (Ant's might still have pics) and have a look at the builds on Pirate4x4.com.

wowly moly i will just stay ifs!!!! i was just seeing what it involves thats all haa wont be planing anything like that for a vit....ever :lol:

I wasn;t having a go at your car Antt - it has a nice stance and is nicely built IMHO. I have seen too many hacked SAS's mostly in the US that are about 10" to tall and look supers pooky.
