Just saw an ad for the Jimny Sierra... anyone catch the full ad? What are they saying/offering?

Bah so what it's just a name and still not a sierra, it's not rugged enough.

got to try something to increase the sales I suppose, was kinda strange that the name was dropped when they went to the Jimny after the Sierra. They should have just said it was the new model Sierra instead of a whole "new" car

well it was a whole new car... not a whole new 4wd... it lost a lot of its appeal with that new body shape too.

well we've all been in Australia :D Hope that answers you're question. Oh and in the UK they were just SJs, in Spain they were Santanas, in the US they were Samurais.

The Suzuki Sierra/Jimny/Santana/Samurai's styling seems to be moving further away from the rugged 4x4 look of the past and more towards the softer look that most of todays Soft Roaders have or are aiming towards.

Recently they've removed the low range out of the latest 3 door Vitara…
Is this the future for the Sierra as well???

Not for me!

I'd like if they were all called samurai's, that sounds alot tougher than jimny or sierra.

I thought the Jap's were taking the p**s and it came from Pinocchio's little mate 'Jiminy' Cricket.
