I Thought Most would like em But just wanted to know if anyone had any dramas with fitting etc...?
i've had a drama fitting mine, but nothing a 39 degree day didnt fix...
basically the 2 studs that attach below the targa bar (first ones of the tray) were about 100mm too short at resting... when stretching it with all my weight behind it i got it within 20mm... so i parked out in the sun on a hot day and let it bake for a few hours before trying again - the heat allowed the canvas to stretch a bit more and it clicked in perfectly - now its SUPER tight... i haven't undone it since through fear of not getting it back on - but its been there for about 2 months now so should be getting a bit better =)
other than that though i just need a frame to sit in the tray to prop up the middle of the cover - because it fills with about 50L of water in the rain and leaks where the targa section joins the tray section. A simple frame to prop up the middle of the tray would allow the water to run off and not pool up though.

I would totally agree about putting in a frame to lift the back part up, mine has sagged horribly because of water sitting in there.
Other than that, they are fantastic quality and really keep the water and dust out. I wouldnt hesitate in buying one again.

Thanks Alien thats the type of thing I wanted to hear! I think a tonneau rod in the centre of tub from side to side will fix the problem your havin!alien wrote:i've had a drama fitting mine, but nothing a 39 degree day didnt fix...

I'm thinking of putting a steel wall behind the seats on mine so may be I can attach either the bottom of the wind breaker or the front of the tonneau cover to it via press studs I don't see how the two join other than velcro and being stretched between the sides? do you think a front wall to the height of the sides will help?

It looks good. I don't have to take the whole roof down to get a bit of air now.
I just roll up the rear flap. No sunburn either.

Here's some of Maria's work. The bikini and fast back have been on for a yea. I was just up at her place getting my girlfriend the same set and I've got to see Maria and her Husband are fantastic to deal with. She even offered to repair a small bit of damage to the fast back which was my own stupid fault (opened tail gate without unclipping the right back clip)
EDIT: The bikini wont come with the ratchet clips that you can see there. I added those myself.

Thanks for feed back and comments.
As soft tops are made of material flat surfer like tonneau will possible collect water. It is fixable with adding a bow to the tab.
Also, as soft tops are made of soft material you should expect some water leaking. I tray to develop them for less or non if possible of water coming into the car. I keep working on improving them then is good for me to know what doesn't work well but remember they are made of soft material.
Alien, could you send me a pic showing where about the water comes in at the front corner? I will be interest to see if I can improve this.
Many thanks to all.

Hi Maria - mines one of the first ones you made, its basically leaking at the front top corners - the tension between the windscreen slot and the door frame wrap around isnt enough to hold the corner down at speed, so it opens up just a touch and catches the wind, and rain =)
im thinking i might try sew in a bent coathanger or something so the corner holds its shape... not sure yet.

Alien If you can sew it see if you can make a little dart between the plastic strip and the press stud. Or even next to the one is already there, this way it should pull it down and hold it tight.
If you want you could send it back to me and I'll try to fix it
