Need help! Converter problems?

Post by Mulisha »

I think i may have Gas Research B2 converter problem or it maybe something completey different.

For the last couple of weeks when i feather the throttle to around the 2Krpm mark were my car starts to make most psi and hp etc when i put my foot down hard the turbo will spool like a jet but the car won't go anywere but as i take my foot off the throttle and back to like 10% throttle it will start to going again .. it's like it's flooding it i thought.

I spoke to a gas guy over the phone and he reakons when i first got all the gas done and the converter froze over becuase incorrect piping it may have damaged it and now it's stuffed or it he said it may have torn the diaphragm inside?

What i described to him he reckons that it starvin for fuel becuase he said when ya car is low on fuel and u feather the throttle it will keep going for a bit and then final run out but if u just put ya boot into it will just surge and carry on like what it's kinda doing.

I was thinking it could be timming or a broken dizzy maybe but i got no idea???

Any tips or help would be great !

Sounds like it's starving of gas. What sort of mixer do you have?
