hey mate, there's a write up on the install here http://www.izook.com/tech/samurai/drive ... ltwins.htmjust cruizin' wrote:I take it the sticks need to be welded by the customer to suit their application.
Keen, but not unless the boot on the transfer is supplied. I don't want to trust my transfer/gears to a rubber glove.

Any how I really must have a twin stick as I have a welded front diff and it would really help with steering to easily switch to low 2wd, and plus 3 sticks in the cabin looks sick.........

Hey Chris, you know who I am I just bought a mighty kong through you guys lol. I'd love a free twin sticks if I could.
My reason for needing one? Well it's a soft top so leaving it in true nuetral would be handy from a security point of view. I'd love to get a front locker without being bent over and shafted by ARB's exorbitant prices. I've heard that just removing the detent ball alone without the twin sticks can sometimes cause you to be stuck out of gear. And also it does look pretty cool Who wouldn't want one?

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set
twin sticks
Twin sticks would be handy. . .
I want to weld my front diff although want to be able to go around corners not straight into them. I would like to have ultimate control of my TG gears enabling me to manoeuvre the zook to its maximum potential. And have another add on for my slow build up zook while keeping the budget low. Also it would be nice to add another flag to the zook.

Here's my zook straight out the workshop after I fitted my 32x9.5's
I'm loving the 6.5 gearset I bought through you guys at locktup4x4 and Chris your awesome to deal with! I've been wanting to weld up my front diff for ages but having drive to the front with the welded diff would make it to difficult to steer I believe. So being able to deselect drive to the front diff would be awesome!
Cheers,
Kit

Hey guys, my name is Vince Martin and I'm the one that donated the Evil Twin to Locktup4x4 for the raffle. I just wanted to post up and let you know that my partner (Alan Mizutani) and I are very happy to have a presence in Australia with Jason and Locktup4x4 with our Suzuki Samurai Evil Twin Stick. We take pride in making a quality product out of top notch materials. I see there are some concerns around running a rubber glove in place of a boot for the t-case. We have run ours that way for over a year and have well over a hundred other users do the same with no issues.
However, we recognize the need for a custom boot and are in the process of manufacturing them. This is an expensive and complicated process believe it or not. We will complete this project as soon as we can and get them out to our customers. Once we have the boots made we will be offering them up for previous customers at cost. We want to do it right so we're taking our time. I can assure you that this is our top priority before we move on to something else.
Stay tuned, we'll post up when the boots are available. We will also be working on some other new products for our fellow zuk enthusiasts. Feel free to email me with any new product ideas you would like for your zuk. Good luck!
Here's a pic of my LWB that I built a few years back

Thanks for the feedback Trucktrader, I'll await the boot eagerly. I do know that tooling up for rubber parts is pricey.
Those who know the quality of my car will know a rubber glove just won't cut it. Bwaahahahahahaha

Ok then, here is mine!
I purchased this as a stocky (apart from a 2inch spring lift) a few months ago. Since then I have been flat out wrenching on a tiny budget!
I have fitted a front lockright and I'm about to weld the rear and add some gears. An Evil Twin would top this all off perfectly, giving me the ultimate in offroad flexibility! (it would look super cool too!)
Cheers!

why would this make a welded front diff easier to turn?
i have never driven a car with a welded front, but i cant see where the benifits are. when the hubs are locked thats it.
