im looking to replace the timing belt on my hilux can this be done in one day and is there any tricks to doing it right.
anyone know where i can get a downloadable manual on the net for it

1997 hilux 2.8 timing belt change

No downloadable manual needed, just use your eyes and a paint pen!
What Fully Sic Lux is saying is - get a paint pen and mark the position each gear is in against the inside of the timing cover before removing the original belt. Then Fully Sic Lux is saying, after installing the new belt, rotate by hand, the crank 4 revolutions to make sure your paint marks all line-up again before putting everything else back before attempting to start the engine!
