My 80 series has 150,000km on the clock of hard driving with almost no maintanance other than oil changes.
My front and rear axles are in urgent need of attention.
I currentley have leaking rear axle seals and stuffed front wheel bearings. The knuckle up front is also very wet.
I want to do a complete overhaul of both front and back.
I plan on replacing.
1. All oil seals.
2. all bearings.
What else should I replace. I am thinking about also replacing the CV's
how long do they usually last. should I replace them?
Car specs: 80 series petrol, 35's 4inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift.

Maybe a set of these if the cash alows http://www.longfieldsuperaxles.com/ 3rd pic down the page, better than putting new toyota ones in.
plenty of parts on the bench
Front you'll need wheel bearings, swivel hub kit, CV's (if you want to go that far). Swivel hub kit should come with inner axle seals. Will also need approx 4 tubs in total of wheel bearing and CV grease (they are different). May also need diff oil as it can come out and need topping up. Without CV's budget approx $200-300 for parts/oils and about 4hrs each side.
Have decided to replace everything, I plan on keeping her for another 3 to 4 years.
Going to replace CV's and drive flanges.
What is the best way to buy the longfields and drive flanges (do I just call the number on there website.)
Where is the best place to get the swivel hub kits and bearing / seals from
Also how long would it take me to do all four corners.
Tossing up weather I am better of going to work for the day while I pay someone else to do it or do it myself. If I do do it my self the neighbour is a mechanic and he said he would be around if I needed help.

Yeah can order direct from longfield think you only need to add in country code at the start or http://www.locktup4x4.com.au/ If your going to pay someone to do it price around. I'd say do it yourself and plus you have someone to help if you get stuck.
