BJ73 handbrake light on dash stays on.....

anyone had this before? the handbrake light stays on after i have released it..........any ideas as to how to fix it?

I would say the switch/ button at the handbrake is sticking

could be low level fluid if it's the same light (was in my 60) or a vacuum problem. vacuum problem would be obvious though

^^I'm with this guy (unless it's obviously the handbrake switch).^^
You can possibly rule out the switch simply by seeing if the light gets slightly brighter as you pull the handbrake on and off.

My bet is on vacuum or fluid level sender.

spot on stu.... the light gets slightly brighter

On my middy the low break fluid level light is differant to the handbreak light so it wont be that.
