Mickey Thompson SSS Winch Challenge - R1 @ LMP 21 - 24 March

- Stages Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
- Saturday night - easter bunny night nav - family and extreme
- Raffle prizes drawn Sunday night following presentation dinner.
- BBQ available all weekend.

Those interested in competing in this Winch Challenge please PM me with your email or postal address and I will send to you the nomination form.

Entry fee = $150. (includes driver and navigator camping only)
Two competition classes - Standard Vehicle and Modified Vehicle

Nominations close - 3:00pm, Friday, 21 March
Presentaiton dinner - 7:00pm, Sunday 23 March

will do. will have to wait til monday before i can send it but, it's on work computer...

you want jelly? look what happened last time with the jelly, had to eat basically them all myself...wasn't good when i woke up for work the next morning. you betta all help me out this time, no way am i eating that many again :)

It's a sad day but i have to inform you all that we will not be at this rd of the SSS winch challenge as we have had some unforseen circumstances arise!
Maybe next time we will be able to come and strut our stuff!

3A1. Compulsory Equipment

3A1(a). Vehicles shall carry one 1.8kg or two .9kg operable dry powder fire extinguishers, mounted securely and within easy reach of the driver and co-driver.
Minimum standard AS1841.5 (AS1841.2 not allowed).

3A1(b). Jack, wheel brace and spare tyre assembly.

3A1(c). Recovery Kit:
- Snatch strap
- 2 x 8000kg tree trunk protector (minimum width 75mm)
- 2 x Snatch block
- 2 pair finger enclosed leather or material gloves
- All shackles to be rated at 3.25 or better or double ended hooks must be rated 3.25 or better
- 2 x 1kg (dry weight) cable dampeners (500mm x 900mm recommended size)
- Winch extension
- Ground anchor
All recovery equipment to be stored at the start of each SS.

We don't get told where stages will be held until the day of the competition...

As for the # of stages and times, Stirlo will be here later this afternoon, I will check with him and let you know.

OK, so I spoke with Stirlo, this is what's happening in relation to the tracks!

Friday - 5pm Driver's briefing
- 6/6:30pm start - 2 stages

Saturday - 8:30/9am start - 4 stages

Sunday - 8:30/9am start - 4 stages
