hi everyone im having trouble trying to get my sierra to start its got a g13a motor and it doesnt have any spark ive changed the coil and dizzy cap but still nothing it started fine this morning and ran for about 5 minutes then spluttered and stalled and has refused to fire since then has anyone got any ideas i could try some petrol and a match is looking good :D

check all your wires/earths and the battery, at a thought.

yeah that was one of my first thoughts i checked all that i could find a friend said it might be a blown ignition module does that sound right

Could be the ignition module, that would be the next step. I think it is cheaper to get a second hand dissie than to replace the module

i have a spare dizzy so that will b e todays job now i know why i put a v6 in the other one injection and modern electrics seem more reliable its a nice day for a bbq dont forget the lamb chops :D

i have changed the dizzy over to the one off my spare motor and its all good :armsup: i decided to replace the leads and and put a new coil in aswell hopefully its the end of problems
