GQ Fuel pump leak, but strange spot.

Post by blackmav »

Had a seal kit put through my pump last January.
But now it apears to have a small leak, but its in a strange spot. Seems to be coming through the thread of where the fuel adjustment is.
I took the nut and the brass washer off to look for any damage and it appears fine.
Its a bit hard to tell but to the best of my deductions thats where I think it is.
Is this common? And more importantly how do ya fix it?

The fuel adjustment screw has an oring on it. Mark where it is before removing or you will create more problems.

where do I get the correct 'o' ring from?
Nissan?

And thanks, I didn't think it could be to hard, but my "local diesel specialist" said it would need a full rebuild. ppfftt.
