BJ42 power steering pulley

Post by micka1 »

hey guys went away the other weekend in my BJ42 ,it has a 3B motor with power steering . whilst away the power steering was making a bit of noise and i discovered that i have actually split the power steering tensioner pulley in half .
So i have been trying to find one since and can't get one new as the are NLA from toyota or aftermarket.
As it runs a 15A wide belt i seem to be having trouble matching something else up to fit. i have been tryin a few wreckers but to no avail so far.
just wondering if i should keep trying the wreckers or if someone has one on here or know where i could get one of these from ?

any help would be greatly appreciated .
thanks Micka1

the diameter is about 82 mm but is not too important as there is heaps of adjustment or i can run another length belt . as long as it fits a 15Abelt
and the internal bolt size is 11mm .

Thanks

id see if one from a 2h would fit. I had the bearing go on mine and fixed it using bits from a 2h pwr steer tensioner pully..

might be another avenue to try?
