AutoArc Installation

Post by leehamescort »

G'day,
I picked up an AutoArc welding setup from the Wandin show the other day.
Anybody know how to wire these things up? It comes with instructions that are not the clearest and dont suit my setup.

- I want to run it as a second alternator instead of replacing the stock one. is there anything special that needs to be done to run two alternators?
- I have a dual battery setup but they are not isolated, how does this effect the welding setup as from how i understand it disconnects the battery when you are welding.
- Anyone know how to actually use the thing, it only has one switch and I havn't got any instructions on how to actually use it. Dont want to fry my electricals guessing how to use it.

Thanks for any help.
