Hi, I was after the thread size of the hole in the head for the fresh air pipe that goes to each cylinder near the exchaust manifold.

Not sure of the size but i just took one down to an auto parts place and got 8 brass plugs to block them off. Could also just weld the hole in the top of each one.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

I got some steel plugs but only screw a couple turns did yours screw in like the oringal nipple

Yeah pretty much, there was about half the thread still protruding.
