I have an 85 bobbed 4runner and am just wondering the best place to put the fuel tank , to keep it out of harms way? Should i get a custom one made up? I am trying to keep the underbelly as flat as possible.
Any ideas
Thanks
Shaun.

I thought about his before and probably good idea with yours.
with mine I`m cutting the wheel arches out and fitting the fuel tank long ways and making a box out of alloy to make new wheel arches and to cover the fuel tank,so the box will run from one arch to the other and go over the tank and I`ll seal it from fumes and mud ect.if you no what I mean
