engineering extended shackles

i have had a inspection at vic roads head orifice and they are calling for me to put the std shackles in or get a engineer cert. for them.
does any one know what that would cost?
Ln106 dual cab lux 2.8 diesel
2inch lift, canopy, 32 pedes, barwork

2006 vz sv6, 3.6l high output v6

Put standard shackles back on and take it back to vicroads.

Engineers will be reluctant to pass extended shackles.

A cert normally runs upwards of $700 depending on what the engineer has to do.

I got my roll cage, seats and wheels engineer certified for $240 in NSW. I think you'll have trouble finding an engineer who will pass extended shackles though....

FJ40 - Lexus V8, 38.5x16r15 Baja Claws, front lokka, rear LSD - None of it fitted to the car yet....

once again, finding hard to find engineers in Vic willing to touch 4b's.. 4 I called I mentioned 4wd, and instantly werent interested.. Kev Williams doesnt even answer his phone anymore. :(

Our club members don't seem to have problems finding engineers bogged, the big stumbling block is larger tyres.

I can't ever engineer the tyres I want on my car but might want the engine, chassis work etc certed. This doesn't seem a problem.

Some engineers in Vic have had lots of scrutiny from Vicroads for certing stuff they shouldn't - that might be some of the reason why some engineers don't like them.
