i was looking into getting free wheeling hubs for my nl 2.8 today because i have stripped the splines of the old hub assembly and off the drive shaft. but ARB catalogue says that they are only for up to 97 model...
does this mean that mine being a 99 model has different splines (coarser or finer) i'm not sure.
it will be a hell of a lot cheeper if i can get some AVM hubs because the wreckers want $220 for just one drive flange. this price seems a bit steep. seing as AVM ones are $227 for both sides.
are there any other brands??? i no my hilux has AISIN hubs but they came standard, so i dont think i could get them for my paj..
any body keen to shed some light on this topic???

AVM free wheeling hubs
Moderator: -Scott-
Mate, I'm new but I remembered seeing this thread on Aisin hubs from a base model Gen 2 Triton or Paj in the Tech Bible.

Worth doing some more research, but seems like a stronger option than the AVM's, and cheaper again.bitsamissin wrote:Yes they will Kev, the outer splines are the same on all Gen 2's so the Aisin manual hubs of a base model Paj diesel or a Triton will fit.
They won't fit an NM onwards however as they have fixed (non removable) hub flanges.
