i have a 88 LN65 hilux and i was wanting to know if a 89 4runner bonnet will fit my 88 lux

There were 2 different shape 4runners in 89. The same shape as your hilux and the shape after. If its the same shape as yours than yes it will fit.

I think the shape change was 88. However, Toyota did strange stuff and RUFF could be correct!

Have a good look at the bonnet or pictures of the bonnet first.

You will definitely be able to tell by looking at the front lip. If they are the same then, yes! Any variation, then NO!

The new shape 4 runner started in Oct 89. The old shape finished some time early 89. The 6# hilux finished early 88.
