simple as 6 bolts on the backing plate of the drum brake and the wheel and the drum must be off obviously so u can slide the axle out of the middle of the brake. pop the seal out and replace it.
cheers,

if water has got into the bearing you will have to replace the outer grease seal make sure you replace it with a double liped seal as this is a weak point with them . they can be bought from a bearing service.. the bearing has a nut to undo and then it has to be pressed of

So far ive found nothing in an MQ that needs to be pressed off. This includes factory disk rotor replacements
Nothing a Big Hammer, Crow bars / heel bars and a decent mount of strenth, or an angle grinder wont fix

Ha ha for a newbie i knew exactly what you were talking about from your first post. Belt your code books up ya backsides
I knew cause i just had mine fixed. Had to replace the inner seal and while they had it to bits got them to replace the bearing as well. it was about 80% worn and would have to be done soon any way well in the next few years. Any way cost me $240 bucks and half a day off the road. im told its not that difficult to do it your self but i chickened out. The only problem i had after was a grabby brake on the side that was fixed. a can of break cleaner to get all the diff oil off the shoes and drum did the trick.
