Illuminated toggle wiring

Post by GUte »

G'day all.
Wanting to wire a simple on/off toggle with three terminals so the LED will illuminate.
Any help with a diagram much appreciated.

if its the same as my illuminated toggles it goes something like this, you will have 3 pins, one is Gnd (usually the bottom one and it will have a ground logo on it which looks like an upside down christmas tree) connect that to a ground source on your car, Next is ACC, connect that to what ever your switching, the top one is power that goes to constant 12V or ign which ever way your wiring it, just make sure you get the ground right and you will have no hassles, the only other thing is if its illuminated constantly swap your +12 and acc around and that will fix the problem.

What about 4 pin spootlight switches with an LED. Which wire goes to the relay? From the acc. pin or the relay pin option? The LED in mine doesn't work.
Thanks
