17" BFG's on an Ns Shorty

Post by pajpittsy »

Is anybody running the 265/70/17 BFG on the NS Shorty?? How are they performing and is there much increase in fuel consumption?? Also what are your thoughts on the Bridgestone Dueler 694

I was going to have a second set of tyres for offroad and decided on 265/75/16's on 16x7 rims. My swb has 3inch lift and 285/75/16's fit fairly easily. The Swb can take 16 inch rims.
My reasoning was that its a popular tyre size and easily available, not to mention better priced than the 17 and 18" varieties.
Just a thought.. You prolly find a half decent second hand/ near new set on here....
