National luna fridges

Post by Frankenyota »

Would like to know if anyone owns or has any experiences with the national luna fridges?
How do these compare with engles, waceos etc?

I've sold some and use one myself. Way better than the Waeco and even better than the Engel when it comes to quality in my opinion.

Looking at a 60l engle or a 50l national luna.
Just wanted to know if the luna was worth the couple of hundred extra?

If you are on the Sunshine Coast, don't forget to have a look at Trailblaza fridges. They are made in Caloundra and in my opinion are realy good.
They are just about unbreakable.

Was going to get a trailblaza but they are a bit too big for the back of the wagon.
The prices were dearer as well.

Trailblaza and National Luna make fridges that are used by the World Health Organisation as vaccine fridges for places like Africa, so they can't be too bad

I have a trailblazer and they are worth every penny and a few more. we treat our fridge like absolute crap and have never had a problem with it. The only thing i did was fit an electronic thermostat to lessen the differential. a couple of my mates have them aswell, one of them flipped his truck so the fridge was upside down for quite some time but when we plugged it back in it fired up no worries at all, another mate leaves his in his hilux 24/7 rain hail or shine no cover or protection at all it it loves it. All in all they are one hell of a tuff fridge that chew bugger all power!
