Ive decided ill give my clutch in my TB42 91 patrol myself!!

do you have to pull the seats and stuff out to get the plate off from around the gear shifters and stuff? anyone have and other tips that might make life easier? im not keen on pulling the motor out with the gearbox though!!

I ripped mine out yesterday, not a fun job! I didn't pull the seats out though, just the centre consoleto get the handbrake cable off. One question though, do you have a body lift? If you don't, save the headache and get someone to do it!! The extra room it gives you makes it heaps easier!!!!

Cheers

if your doing it without a hoist, unbolt the motor and gearbox and instead of dropping the box, lift the motor out, its so much easier and will save you alot of beer and cursing!
