LT 230 Transfer lever

Post by Braudy »

Hi All.

Are all LT230 gear sticks the same ? I ask because I have a LT 230 with no shifter and I was going to go to the wreckers and get one soon. Just want to be sure I get the correct one , if it makes any difference.

Also what would be a fair price to pay.

Cheers

They're not all the same.

I'm not sure about the Rangie, but they are mechanical on the D1, to cable no CDL actualtion on the D2, then cable with CDL actuation on the D2 update.

Your sig says 81 rangie. AFAIK these had the LT95.

If you are putting in a 5 speed LT77 or R380, the lever for the t/case is on the gearbox and a set of linkages for high/low and lock/unlock, connect to the LT230.

I don't know what the LT85 has.

I have a nissan 5 speed with LT 230 conversion sitting in the shed .

I just bought a 77 bobtail rangey and I am going to replace the 4 speed out of it with the nissan box.

I have broken 3 4 speeds and am getting a little over them.

When I bought the 5 speed , it did not come with the transfer gear stick.

Now you have the full story.

Looking around at the wreckers today at a couple of discos .

And I think the shifter I want is off a automatic with a LT 230.

It appears to be a little more user friendly when it comes to custom mounting.

Anybody out there got one they would like to part with ?
