Drive shaft Vibe after 5 inch lift ?

Post by GUEEY »

Almost finished new lift.

After some testing on the weekend i now have some tailshaft vibration!
i am picking up some 16+ trailing arms for the rear this week which sould help correct pinion angle in the rear.
For the front i think some gearbox spacers may help.

i am open to other ideas or advise!

Thanks

Grant

the rear will be fixed with the lower arms! i have these but ther eon my workshop floor as my vibrations in the rear are VERY minimal(Im lazy) the front should be ok if you used drop boxs as these would have spaced it down 8mm! i run 7" lift and the front has nothing else done to it! prob wouldnt advise top speeds with it at such a angle but it has been fine for me up to 70kmh

I have drop boxes already, but the vibration came after i went from 4 inch to 5 inch .thats why i thought a gearbox spacer kit between the drop box plate and the cross menber would help it .
Truck drives brilliant with Drop boxes!!!!!

Go back to a 4 inch lift, problem solved.
