will the power steer reduce bump steer and eliminate steering wheel play?

if so, count me in later down the track (when i can afford it).

Why not just post it regardless? it's not a popularity contest.

Its cement two table spoons of cement and a glass of Milk and harden the F#@k up. Concrete is the finished product of adding water sand, gravel and the binder which is cement, the concrete has all ready gone hard.

Yes Im interested in the drawings for a a mates project would be much appreciated..... :P

if you have a 2inch body lift it will be easier.
can use pitman arms from jimny cressida crown and landcruiser.
intermediate shaft will bolt straight up with rubber coupling.[ same bolt pattern]
just have to make hoses up.

Great work! Any preferded pitman arm for a Sierra with no body lift?

Any bolt on powersteering pumps? :P

i always use cressida ones.if you have a g13b. you will have to make a pump arangement.if you have a 1.6 just use vit stuff.

What makes the cressida box better than a vitara one? The mounting pattern is pretty much the same so the labour to fit doesn't really look any different.

Looks good mate, nice detailed drawing. The cressida etc style box has been being used for a while, rocky roads kit is built around it...

http://www.rocky-road.com/powersteer.html

and the same install as joeblows drawing is here (although for vit box):

http://www.rocky-road.com/powersteer.html

Steve, going by the rocky road site (if its anything to go by) the cressida box is larger/stronger. Althouh I'm sure your aware, alot run the vit box with up to 36" tyres.

Joeblow, like steve said, Mounting wise looks to be exactly the same amount of work, if not more, sourcing lines etc to make fittings fit at both ends (pump to box).

If you pick up a complete setup out of a vitara, all the lines are a straight hook up from what I understand.

I'd still prefer to drill a 10mm plate & have it all bolt on/removable though, rather than drillng the chassis & cutting & welding in crush tubes, but that me, as I'm after a bolt on solution.
