getting rid of air con GQ would it cause any problems?
getting rid of air con GQ would it cause any problems?
I am thinking of getting rid of the air con out of the patrol. I remember reading once from somewhere that if you removed the a/c compresser it would be uneven on the engine and can do damage to the engine is this crap or would it be fine to remove it?

A/C pulley bearing's about $10 from bursons. Belt's around the same. I used to have to replace them all the time from driving bogholes.
But if you don't need/use a/c then convert it to run as a mega high powered air compressor. And remove condensor to allow your radiator to breathe better or create room for an intercooler
I'd do the same but it gets too hot in Melbourne summertime to run a daily driver without a/c.
