Since i have intercooled my lux i had to lift the back of my bonnet about 10mm, and the thermo on the top of the intercooler is rubbing on the inside of the bonnet scoop....
I was thinking of installing a 30mm body lift so my cooler will be away from the inside of the bonnet and i can take out the spacers i used to lift the bonnet...
If i was to machine some 30mm alloy lift blocks would i need to modify anything on the car to fit this?
Eg, radiator, or any electrics/hoses/lines?
Edit: i know this has been talked about before but have only been able to find about 2" body lift.
Cheers brad

3.0L turbo diesel, 4" lift, bud's front housing, track assasin cv's, air lokker front + Rear, beadlock'd 37 stickies, high steer, 15.5" travel ranchos, high pinion diff and coils on the rear
About the only thing you should have to watch is the engine fan hitting the shroud (if applicable.) Other things like gear stick movement would be a trial and error thing i'd imagine.
Oh and don't forget; anything bolted to the chassis won't lift. So you'll need to mod any barwork unless you want a 1" gap.

with a body lift on a lux make sure u undo ya steering shaft bolt from the steering box and u might have to take the dust cover out and cut the middle peice of tin out of the dust cover plate from around the gear sticks because it minimises gear stick movement mine would pop out of second and reverse but that's on a 2inch body lift so u might get away with it

yeh thanks, ill have a look at the shroud...
ill remove the dust cover and back the bolt off but cant imagine it being much of a problem with only 1" lift....
Cheers, thanks for the info.
