which way does it face.... forwards(protecting the shaft) or back under the gear box? i just een a few other toyotas that have em either way... my guess it should go rear to cover the box? just curious? mine faces foward!

face it backwards, it's to cover the t-case.

On my last hilux mine was also pointing forward and the first time off road it jammed agauinst the cardinal joint and bent shit out of it.
