Factory locker diff centers

Post by ShortyFortyTwo »

Just wondering if any of the diff centers with factory difflocks will fit into the axle housings in a BJ42 (with the obvious exception of the front diff in the 80 & 100 series)? And if not why not?

yes they will, although you will need a longer splined inner axle on one of the sides, as the factory lockers rely on this.

these aren't too hard to come across, any 40 or early 75 series with factory lockers will have the right axles, and the short side of the 60 series will work too. there is a good link about it on the tech page of www.ih8mud.com
