Leaf sprung Lux flex help

Post by pootrollin »

One of the guys in our crew has a dual cab leaf sprung luxxy. We need to get this thing to flex and stop it ridng like a rock buggy. We have not played with a leaf sprung 4b and would like some help on what we can do. It is bog stock at the moment. I have read in mags that some guys buy a 2 inch EFS pack and mod it. What mods do they do to a leaf pack. He will probably run a longer pro comp shock. Any advice appreciated.
Cheers.

Try running a search on flex in the toyota forum. You will get loads of info.

Here is a recent topic of hilux flex
http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic138 ... light=flex

From what I have looked at, you need to soften the springs, lift them and put in longer shocks.

Apparrently the rear leaf pack will fit in the front and flex well.

Good luck.

I fitted Trail Gear front and rear kits to mine and imo they are one of the best off the shelf kits for flex.
