hahaah i had this same issue - search posts by me (alien) with speedo in the subject... pretty sure its called "all about the speedo".

Anyways - my 5.14tcase is almost perfectly bringing my gearing back to stock... so when a speedo guy tested it by RPM on the cable, it was correct, even though it was out by around 20%... the solution was adding about 20mm to the spring on the speedo. We then checked by GPS and its all good now, however a ratio box will say its way out of whack cos of the gearing =)

there's a local guy in newy who those speedo boxes to make it all work right. but i deleted his name and number when i got rid of the zook, lol. if you ring around a few speedo type places and ask if they can build or know anyone who builds that kinda box then i'm sure u'll find him pretty easily...

like i said, you dont need a box - its a waste of money - just lengthen the spring and check with a GPS =)
