Ive got a problem with the Fuelfilter light, air filterlight, handbrake light and the batt light all coming on when driving and they flicker on and of all the time for no reason (well there has to be but i cant find 1) has any body else had a prob like this and /or can any 1 tell me what may b the problem ? or where to start looking.

if it is deisel check the alt plug. It may be wet or could have an oil leak on the vac pump drive wetting the plug and slip rings.

If its petrol maybe the same, I only had this on a deisel though.

The regulator on the alternator has probably crapped.

Get a multi meter, measure the voltage while the engine is running (at the battery), if it is below 13.5 volts the alternator is not charging.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.

checked out the alt and shes got lots of grease and oil in it so got it fixed but was still happening and have since found the the rotor in it is farked so time for a new one .
