hi guys
im newish to diesels so please excuse the noobnes if any,
i have just bought a 60 series n/a diesel.
Its getting about 450ks of 80L of fuel and that is about 90% road driving, im not sure if thats normal or bad so any help would be great on that, But it is also pumping out a heap (way more than a average diesel of its age) of soot.
I know injector pumps can be turned up, but can they be turned up to much? if so could anyone point me in the right direction of how to adjust or check the injector pump level properly.
thanks

Mate honestly leave the injectors and pump etc to the professionals, yes you can play with the settings yourself but they are very sensitive. Being a N/A 60 series guessing you have a 2H which are a slug, how hard are you driving it?
