Power steering hose leak...

Post by asha05 »

Is there anyone who does this other than buying genuine Nissan...It is the top hose has a leak at the crimped fitting...! Nissan would like to charge $230 for this. Seems a bit steep to me for high pressure hose...any help would be great.

Mine did the same several year ago.
I went to a hydraulic hose specialist and they provided a replacment at about half the cost of Nissan.

Take the hose in with you as they re-used the fittings off mine to save some money. Still expect to pay about half the price of genuine.
