Havent pulled the door lining off yet so I thought I would ask for advise before instead of the usual "after".
Havent been able to open the door from the outside quite frequently because the lock has dropped down (frustrating as all hell), and now the door wont open from the inside either even after lifting the lock. Even locking/unlocking doesnt help. The only way out at the moment is to put the window down and use the outside handle.
I'm sure its probably an easy fix, but can never be sure when a POM built it.

Drivers door wont open on Disco

To fix my doors I sprayed oil up into all the locks etc.
Luckily you can still open your door, I couldn't and had to pull the door lining off and spray into everything that way.
For my other doors i just opened them up and spray up into the locks that way and now they all open really easily.
They used to be really hard to open then passenger door stopped all together.
Tho sounds like your problem may be mechanical possibly.
