Surf grill and headlights to ln106r lux

Post by Turboln106r »

Does anyone know if the surf grille and headlights surrounds (the ones with the slanted headlights) will fit a hilux ute. The front half of the cars are the same, will it clip in?[/img]

The rad support has different holes for the headlamps. I know the indicators/side lamps are different as far as the way they are removed, the slant eye front side lamps slide forward and the Hilux ones come out to the side for removal.

You may have to cut the headlamp holes bigger. Only chance it will fit will be if the Lux is a 4X4, not 2X4.

I want your stock Hilux stuff when your finished.

The SR5 stuff is chrome and different from the Surf chrome bits. The slanty eye head lights are very different from standard Hilux and SR5.

it wont just clip in, u have to cut a lil hole in ur rad support behind the headlight bucket, then it will bold in. very common mod on 2wd hiluxs. looks alot better. u have to use the surf headligth buckets grill and corner markers

Im interested to know where to cut- Cos ive got a surf halfcut, and ive got a hilux, and im looking at using the smurf grill on the hilux front

I could just drill out all the spot welds and swap the rad supports, but thats too much like hard work! :D

You don't have to change the rad support panel, just cut the headlamp holes bigger, unless you are a perfectionist!
