Sierra soft top rear roll cage + swift seats + engine + lift

Post by grothie1978 »

heya all

im totally new to the forum/suzuki and 4x4 all together
i finally got off my butt and got my hands on a 93 sierra soft top
i would like to install a rear roll cage setup to protect the people in back seat, i was wondering what the best method is to do this and if people could possibly post up pics of their setup

also i got a pair of brand new swift seats with it (not installed) has anybody done this install and if so how do i manage to do it

also what is the best way to get more power out of the 1.3 carby or cheapest engine swap

also whats the best/cheapest method for a lift, also stupid question but a mate mentioned u might be able to lower the sierra coz he has one and wants to go the opposite and lower his and do the big rim bling thing :)

so sorry for all the questions and sorry if these questions have been asked before
any help would be great

Best way to go is to ask ONE question per post, which makes answers much clearer, AFTER you have searched and read the bible..
There is a seat fitting thread running at the moment.
Suspension/Body lift has been done a thousand times so search will be easy. Same for roll bars/exo's
Lowering a Zook

This stuff has been done to death. Search is your friend.

thanks for all the help people
much appreciated
back seat will be used only couple times a week to pick up and drop off my son from his mothers
so back seat will have to stay for a few years atleast anyways

Image Dex made this for me. Rear arms are more squarish and come down lower to sit flush with the rear tray. Is plated from under the wheel arches and rear tray with 6mm plate. Havnt had to use it yet.
