Post by UZJ40 »

excuse my ignorance, but do i need to run the vacum line to the brake booster?

i have an 80 series brake booster and master cylinder, and a 1UZ engine.
where does the vacum line go onto the engine?

is it the small vac line, or the larger one held in with the bolt, as mine just has the bolt.

The larger one. It will be the same size as the one on your booster or very close to it.

I had to get one of the fittings, the soarer engine has an electric booster, so just a bolt, no fitting

WHOOPS, you can 'T' out of a another line or get the fitting

No mate, thats not a soarer motor in the pic, Celsior, Crown, maybe Aristo. NOT Soarer. Soarer had electronic booster, no need for engine vac.
