Would really like to go with the Trail Gear High Steer set up (missed out on a group buy I see), but I'm worried about the problems on a vehicle used as a daily driver as well at the weekends!
How are you guy's getting round the weld-on IFS box mount, thought welding on a chassis was a no no! plus changing from standard OEM steering components?
How much paperwork, engineering inspection is required?
I know these kits are selling but are they on trail only 4x4?
Anyone done this in Tassie?
Any help or advice would be great.

Know a fair few up here in Qld with it mod plated and apartenly where about the worst to get stuff done mines done was easy enough best bet talk to a mod plater/engineer it'll be his signiture so he'll say yes or no to it. Might be a simple as getting a Fab shop to do the welds with a report to say it's good enough.
plenty of parts on the bench
