anyone know wat sort of dollars i would be lookin at for a bare shell off a 89-97 xtra cab lux.

Not what you want but may give an idea. For 84-88 hilux I have been quoted $1200 for a single cab and $1500 for x-cab in good condition. But about $400-$600 for fairly average ones.

yeah, i got quoted today 1500 for an 89-97 shell, with slight front end damage
