I was gonna put ifs rears into my hilux tonight but i just realsed there not gonna fit nice an easy.
the front bushes in the ifs springs are those single metal collar ones where as my hilux's are just rubber...i'm gonna go to my mates tomorrow an try press the metal collar out and just slot the original pin from my hilux's rubber bushes in. does this sound like a good idea?is the metal collar connected in anyway to the rubber bushes surrounding it?
anyone done anything like this cos i havent dealt with this type of bush before an don't wanna fk my only pair of ifs springs!!!

You dont need to change the bush to fit these. All you do is use the original IFS Bolt and the side plate off your current spring bolt which is only pressed onto the pin. You need to grind a tiny amount of the cercumfrence of the bolt head to get it to fit right. The Stock IFS bush flexes more than enough for these springs.Sic Lux wrote:search backa bit for a thread Lux_89 started i think there is a pat no in there or the correct bush to do the job or PM bubs
