H4 Headlights woth LED surrounds

Post by petri »

Gents, a while back i remember seeing a lad selling H4 lenses with a LED ring around them acting as the parkers. (like the BMW style)

Does anyone remember who does them?

Cheers,
Petri

I've got the ones from Bright Light Auto Parts fitted to my 40. Look cool at night, and give off a nice white light, but visibility is sh!thouse. Not sure if a better loom and bulb would fix it but.

With just the led rings on (as parkers)

Hey Twisty... They do look good i must say.

I'm going to use an IPF HD loom with better globes so that should fix the visibility issue...

I recon i'll go with a pair, they will top off the GQ shorty nicely. (I just bought one with a 383 stroker in it and next week i'll start the work on getting it bush savvy)... am i wrong in thinking that you are doing something with a V8 for your 40?... maybe i just read incorrectly

Cheers for the pics mate.

Let me know how the loom and better globes goes, definetly wanna sort mine out someday.

And nah mate, no V8 planned for the 40 for the moment, I do miss my old runner with the Lex V8 but. Someday I'd like to fit some kinda EFI donk in there, but for now the 3f does the job.

sure thing. I've used it in the past, it made a huge difference with better globes. The Nissan factory wiring is shite tho so that's a major factor to consider...... The 3F is a solid motor, i understand that you're happy with it.

Cheers.
