I have a spare 90l tank and was thinking of doing the same thing, so i have 2 tanks.

A mate has just had a tank installed behind the seat in his extra cab lux, rules where that it just had to have breathers and insulated lines or something. so in regards to having it in the car it should be fine.

Sorry mate. my apologies.

12oo would be furtherest tip to tip. as they curve, it may fit. might be worth just sitting the tank to measure up?
