Disco 3 tyres

Post by T_Diesel »

Just doing some research for a mate who owns a disco 3 with 18" L/R Rims.

What tyre size does the disco 3 come as standard with in the 18" rims, and what is the biggest size you can fit under the air bag suspension without getting a lifty kit or doing a guard chop?

Is a 255/60R18 the biggest you can fit without a lift?

if you can fit a set of 17 inch rims you have a slightly better choice of rubber.

Not 100% sure but i think they are 1 inch taller, it is the airbag suspension model so he couldnt go to big.

have fitted 275/65/18 maxxis bighorns to a disco 3
wouldnt recommend it as it srcubbed the inner guards a little
although the owner seemed happy with it .
have also seen one come into work with 265/70/17 coopers fitted .
