MQ god damn wont start

Post by psyosphere »

wondering if anybody can help me find the problem with my MQ with a L28 engine non efi. i fixed the problem that i first had with the cam beening out of time, now i have the problem there is no spark, so i changed the points, cap, rotor buttom & coil and cleaned & dryed out the distributor with a heat gun, checked all the wiring and you can guess again!! still no spark... im wondering if it could be the resistor that shot, god knows its really coming a pain in the arse, can anyone help on this matter??

run a wire from + baterry straight to + coil then crank crank it over. this will bypass most crap and only leave the essentials. IF it doesnt start you know what not to look at.

Good way to hot wire cars too ;)
