Im thinking of converting my 60 to a 350 chev, what are the major dramas, engineering, gearbox fitting etc. If anyone has done it, plz let me know how much trouble im up against and whether its worth it or not
Cheers

we did it in my dads which is a 45 only main concerns the enginner wanted was disc brakes front which 60 series do, tailshafts tested for strength, and just we welded and bolted the engine mounts!

i have a 60 seies with a 350 chev in it and it has a turbo 400 auto box with a fj45 tranfer case. i hope your not after something good on fuel cause it drinks it. its also engineered in nsw but i bought it that way. be careful as well dont take short cuts with wiring get it done by a professional and get them to explain it to you.
