Airtech Snorkel Part Nos Needed

Post by pedrok5000 »

I have taken a chance and picked up an airtech snorkel cheap off ebay. It may have come off a 2.8 GU but unsure.

I want to stick it on my 4.5L GU.

I have the outside mainbody, inner pipe, ram head, and the bolts are in place on the outside body. I thought I could just source a copy of all the parts and install guide, then check to see what else I needed.

The parts that I have are:
Outer Body 011MB00113J and Inside Pipe 0111P00113J

Be good to confirm if that number is for a Patrol.

I did some research but couldnt find all that much on the Airtechs. I had a look at the Safari site and they have all their guides. From that it only be the final connection to the airbox that will be different.

This plan isnt coming together, I spoke by phone with a TJM dealer and couldnt get part nos, I also made the mistake of saying it was probably off a 2.8, because they called back and said all I could use was the outside piece, and to buy the rest would cost as much as a new one.

So would be grateful if anyone has any details, installation guides, ect for an Airtech GU snorkel, so I can look at it all myself.

If I can do it with what I have I will then go and buy the template/install guide and get it fitted

Thanx
Pete
