Mechanic in Brisbane? Recommendations?

Post by Rockwolf »

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good, trustworthy mechanic in the brisbane area with experience with fourbies? We're around Indooroopilly, but willing to drive if it's worth it. We've had trouble in the past with useless mechs, and we're sick of it.

The missus had a fantastic one in Wagga, but they're hard to find up here. My usual one is tolerable, but tends to be expensive for average work.

Any ideas?
Lindsay.

Thanks, guys. :) Will do the ring around when I get a spare moment.

Also noticed Fourbys at Moorooka do servicing, and I need a few tyres too - how are they on the spanners? A one-stop-shop would be handy.

Yes they used to be next door to Big Gun Butchers. Andrew the original owner still works out of the same shed that Big Gun moved to but Carl bought the business around 5 years ago now. Karl is a real good bloke that will not rip you off. And is one of the best Mechanics i have ever worked with. There is very little he is not willing to have a go at.
