Aftermarket leaf spring question

Post by flyology »

I am continuing the rebuild on my HJ61, at the moment I am cleaning all the front end parts up and getting ready to put everything back together.

I have pulled the spring packs apart, and there is a number of yellow plastic discs (approx 2 in in diameter) that fit into holes in the leaves to stop spring chatter. I would like to replace these discs as some are worn, but have no idea what brand the springs are, as they were fitted when I bought the vehicle.

anyone have any idea what brand the springs may be, and where I might be able to buy the anti chatter discs from??

thanks in advance,

MB

Is it possible to still buy the anti friction pads?

and if so, anyone know where to get them?

I think TJM also has yellow pads. Try Kings Springs.

Had to go into Cairns today, called into the springworks and got the anti friction pads for 1.20 each.

Thanks,
